The Adaptive Learning Center Celebrates 35 Years of Inclusion

The Adaptive Learning Center (ALC) celebrated its 35th anniversary with over 150 friends who support the important work that ALC does for the Atlanta community! A Night Among the Stars, took place on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Atlanta History Center. Guests enjoyed a lively evening of dancing, a delicious meal prepared by Soiree Catering and mingling with friends.  Anne Park and Matt Hopkins accepted the ALC Inclusion Award, on behalf of Peter’s Pals, the group of friends who started and are responsible for the annual 5k fun run Pound the Pavement for Peter.  In an exciting addition to the evening, special recognition was given to ALC Founder, Susan Tauber, and The Adaptive Learning Center, from Governor Nathan Deal.
At the event, ALC announced the launch of their new website and shared the new logo created by TCT Brand.  Track Seven Events helped incorporate the new image into the event scheme for all of the guests to enjoy.  The silent auction featured vacation homes, travel, art, jewelry, sports memorabilia and much more.   All guests enjoyed takeaways provided by Darden’s Delights and Catalyst Fitness.
According to Charles Schoen, ALC’s executive director, “The Adaptive Learning Center has been a blessing to the Atlanta Community for 35 years and will continue for years to come.” Proceeds from this event will directly benefit ALC’s Inclusion Program and will impact families in our Atlanta community. We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors and all of our friends who believe in the important work that ALC has done and will continue to do for years to come.
